| 説明 | We simply called it "the bus". My home in early childhood, before the fella who bought our ancestral home in HQX, WA, defaulted on the loan and my family ended up with it for 7K and we left the sands of Huntington Beach, CA and drove up into the wet and rain and banana slugs and loggers and all.We rolled into town in May 1984. The D.A.R.E. officer in town came to see us a day or two after we arrived, as neighbors called in about our unconventional domicile. I think my parents were hotboxing in the bus when he knocked. Said policeman politely ignored the smell and sight of marijuana smoke and checked in to see we weren't drifters (whatever the problems are with that) nor criminals. Well, I mean criminals who were doing something really bad. So anyway. I had an okay first impression of Grays Harbor, Hoquiam, and the local police force.That's me in the raspberry beret and plaid jumper, with a fella on each arm. |
