| 説明 | Lilies kill cats. I am surprised that lots of cat owners don't know this. I didn't. You may be a cat owner and have had lilies safely coexist with your little fuzzballs many times. The problem only comes if the cat eats some part of the lily. I know this because a few years ago I took some lilies home, and my nine-month-old-kitty managed to find and eat a leaf clipping. That is all it takes to shut down a cat's kidneys. She had to be put to sleep within a week. I say this not for sympathy (I'm over it by now) but because I think it's a shame that people don't know this about such a common flower. They are as toxic as anti-freeze to cats. I personally think that the flower shops should put up a sign or something...I don't have anything against lilies, though. I bought myself a bunch the other day at the grocery store for a treat. Clearly I no longer have cats. |
