| 説明 | We are now on a proper tarmac road, and more or less parallel to the Campuhan Ridge trail we had been walking over all morning. I am out of the trail now, and feeling a wee bit better after a couple of glasses of a delicious arak (a local drink) cocktailI and a bit of rest. The hotel is still quite some way off, so my guide Madhi has sent for a motor scooter which his nephew will bring. I still have to get a couple of km to get to it though. On the way, I passed this traditional Balinese dwelling with a nice sounding welcome note, though all that hospitalith and coffee promised was with some commercial intent! Thank goodness this was the end of the road- I had to wait next to this house for the motor scooter to arrive. (Bali, Indonesia, May 2018) |
