The brigade currently conducts detention and corrections operations at the Afghan National Detention Facility in Pol-e-Charkhi. Upon completion of their training, the soldiers will be among the first to work with American soldiers at the Detention Facility in Parwan and have a critical role in the transition of the facility from the United States to the Afghan government.
