| 説明 | Parallel to NASA Runway 15 at the Shuttle Landing Facility. You can easily see the VAB, pads 39A & B, and several more pads in the distanceWe came in from the north and there was traffic coming the other way so we sidestepped to the right to give them room. When we got to the south end, I told NASA Tower that I’d help get out of the way by turning west for a bit so I didn’t turn into the now south bound helicopter. NASA Tower offered “.. or you could make a left 180 and do the low approach to 33.” They know that 33 is the goal. We all want to do the low approach and be a shuttle commander for just a few minutes. We all want to think we could have landed that thing if needed.Thank you NASA HQ PHOTO ... you fulfilled a bucket list for me! |
