Board of Transportation, which sets transportation policy for the State and oversees the funding and construction of all State transportation infrastructure, including highways, bridges, airports, rail, transit, ferries, and bicycle and pedestrian projects.Mr. Fox was appointed to the Board by Governor Cooper to represent Division 7 (Greensboro’s division) in March 2017. He previously served on the Transportation Board from 2010 to 2013.He is a partner with the Tuggle Duggins law firm in Greensboro and has been listed in “Best Lawyers in America” in land use and zoning since 2007. His public service experience also includes service as a Special Prosecutor for the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office, as an assistant district attorney in Atlanta, Georgia, and as an aide to a U.S. Congressman. Mr. Fox also served on the Greensboro Planning Board for six years, including three as Chairman.A resident of Greensboro, Fox is a graduate of Appalachian State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law. |
