| 説明 | We'd traveled up to Leeds the afternoon before, catching up with an old university friend, and had been dropped off at Leeds station with plenty of time to spare, at 0645.One breakfast in Wetherspoons later and we were ready to go. Our destination for the train – Gargrave in Yorkshire. The intention? To spend three days walking in the dales. Aim for the day? To walk from Gargave to Malham along the Pennine Way, then spend the afternoon walking around Malham.The problem? Looks like rain all day. Which is why commuters on the 0819 train saw us bunging on waterproofs and equipping rucksacks with waterproof covers. As can be seen here – my new 50 litre rucksack looking resplendent in its silver cover... |
