Adam Marion Readiness Center on Sunday, September 9, 2018. The dedication honors Pfc. Adam Marion, who was a member of the N.C. National Guard's 171st Engineer Company. On 28, April, 2008, Marion was killed by wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked a forward operating base with indirect fire near Baghdad, Iraq. |
