| 説明 | How lucky for me, I get to do some writing today. I really should write more, it tends to set me free. I've often sat at this location, basking in the wonderful wooden lounge chairs that litter the sands of the Paradise Cove Restaurant, sipping an ice cold corona, staring at the waves, coming and going.... mindless.... unending, or so it seems..... plotting my assault on musical and photographic glory. This dock speaks to me. It says.... betta by food while you’re here or else they'll charge ya 20 bucks for parking :), the buffalo wings are nice. A small price to pay for a sunset in Paradise Cove. Don't ya think?The walkway on this dock will forever remind me of an old friend, she no longer lives in California, but one day, years ago, when we were young and broke and both fighting to make sense of our place in this universe.... we took a walk here, a few weeks before we said goodbye and both went our separate ways. And time stood still for me. Funny how life happens like that. Little pictures we take with us forever.... it's like I was floating above that moment. Smiling at it. I recommend you visit this place on a cool summer sunset, and have a moment for yourself. Bring a friend. |
