Rob Wimpory, from the 133rd Military Police Company, South Carolina Army National Guard, found a puppy abandoned and scared in a puddle of water during route reconnaissance in Dillon, South Carolina on Sept. 18, 2018. Wimpory has been mobilized to respond and support recovery efforts caused by Tropical Storm Florence in South Carolina, along with more than 3,000 SC National Guard Soldiers and Airmen across the state, since last week.The puppy was adopted by a member of the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.
