| 説明 | I made this in Jan 2007 as a memorial for a dear friend and naturalist who passed away on Jan 3. I "collect" little old episcopal ladies, and this was my first one in the greater Memphis area. She was awesome. An air traffic controller, fox-hunter (no maiming, only chasing), great reader, great gardener, fabulous artist- she specialized in watercolor "house portraits," landscapes, and beautiful floral pictures. She knew William Faulkner back in the day! She accompanied me, weekly, to the Emmanuel Episcopal Center, located in a housing project, to teach underprivileged little girls pottery when she was in her eighties. What a life well lived. |
