| 説明 | A bottle of Beer Geek Brunch Weasel Islay Edition from Mikkeller in Copenhagen, Denmark, at 3 Små Rum in Göteborg.Beer Geek Brunch Weasel Islay Edition is a 10,7% abv imperial stout brewed with Kopi Luwak (Civet coffee) at Nøgne Ø in Grimstad, Norway. Kopi Luwak is a coffee based on beans that have been eaten and defecated by a small weasel like animal in Indonesia that only picks the best coffee berries, making this the most expensive coffee in the world. After brewing the beer, it was aged for 2,5 months on Islay whisky barrels, the same type of barrels used for Nøgne Ø God Jul Islay Edition.The Weasel Islay Edition pours a pitch black color with a small brown head. Strong aroma of coffee, smoke, tar and licorice. Mouthfeel is thick with a creamy carbonation. Flavors explode when you take the first sip; smoke, coffee, dark chocolate, molasses, wood, roasted bitterness. Wow. This is a massive beer!I enjoyed the regular Weasel but this is a totally different beast. Great stuff from Mikkeller! |
