During the ceremony families of the fallen sergeants received cash rewards of 100,000 Afghanis for the sergeant’s actions while sacrificing their lives to save the lives of many more Afghans. The ceremony also saw 76 police officers and sergeants recommended for rank promotion and 351 recommended for monetary bonuses.
