Ten length-12 depth-2 edge units.I do not yet have enough magnets to finish this construction, however I predict that at depth 2 it could be extended to length 18 units and still support its own weight, and at depth 3 perhaps even to length 24, for an icosahedron comprised of a total of 4320 magnets and at least 40 magnets tall. |
