| 説明 | further pictureCosmos garden cultivar. Botanic Park Belfast - great big beds full of these in full flower in front of the palm house. Interesting to watch the bees moving randomly between the white, pink and purple flowers. I had wrongly assumed that the bees would have stuck to one colour. Honey bees always stick to one type of flower as they forage unlike bumble bees. I have watched carder bees and white tail bumblebees fly from flower to flower on the pots on my patio irrespective of colour and plant family. Interesting to see that the honey bees can ignore colour when appropriate.
