| 説明 | The reason for my very short trip to Helsinki is that it's Laura's birthday, and as the parlance goes, it's a 'special' one. She decided that she'd like to celebrate it in Finland, and so that's what we've done.We've had a cracking day, starting with riding the new extended Metro line all the way to the west end in Espoo, where we went for a cup of tea and a lovely bun. Then we came back via the Cable Factory in the city centre where HSL are doing a public consultation on a new high speed tramway that they're putting in, and that was fun (no, really, it was). Finally we went round to Laura's Dad's where Ripa had played a blinder and put on a fabulous barbecue with some friends and family, including a lovely catch up with Karin and Iris.All of these things were photographed and any would have served as photo of the day, but all of them added up to a very happy Laura, so here she is!Thanks to everyone who helped her to have a smashing day. :) |
