| 説明 | Pattern: Kew socks, design by Polly Outhwaite, in Knitty Fall 2006Yarn: Regia 4-ply in colorway 324 (a very classic dark blue, darker than in the photos)Needles: 3mm 20cm bamboo dpns (I'm a tight knitter)Modifications: I added an extra pattern repeat in the leg, to make them longer, and picked up more stitches along the heel flap to avoid holes.This is a very underestimated and (undeservedly) unloved sock pattern. The photos on Knitty don't do it justice. Looks fantastic on your legs!The lace is easy enough for me, the pattern is logical and memorizable.They're a gift for my mother in law, but I intend to knit a green pair for myself! |
