| 説明 | Postcard is of the fountain and surrounding garden beds in Gage Park looking south in Hamilton.Postcard is addressed to Miss Jean Caskey, Maple Dairy Co. Woodstock, Ont. The transcription reads: "Dear Jean. Hope you [are in]. I thought you said you were going to write. I've been looking for a card or a letter since Easter. Write soon to 32 Ashley St. Love Olive." The verso has a 2 cent Canadian brown stamp with straight cancellation lines, and the stamp "BUY VICTORY BONDS". The return stamp reads Hamilton June 10, 1941 at 5:30 PM.
