| 説明 | It took me a long time to make this one. I used the following inputs:- Doodles made while listening to "Lionel Nimrod's inexplicable world" - a hilarious comedy show.- MIT Psychology lectures - especially the lecture about paranoid schizophrenia - search for: "Causing Mental Illness: What Can Make You "Lose" Your Mind?".- An unsettling collection of drawings made by asylum inmates - search for: "Psychiatry in pictures" and "The British Journal of Psychiatry".- An old Dutch bird-book I rescued from the waste-paper bin.- A photograph I made recently on a street corner in Rotterdam. This was a "husband and wife" pair of birds but I can't see the difference between the sexes.I'm a big fan of jackdaws. They're intelligent and funny birds. They're just as acrobatic as seagulls in the air. Unfortunately they're a bit too shy ... it's difficult to photograph them really up close.And I like the idea that a city is a living and thinking organism ... |
