| 説明 | Going into the temple of Ramses II at Abu Simbel.No photos inside - but there are 8 statues of Osiris with Ramses II's face inside, and several halls, and lots of pictures on the walls detailing Ramses II's glorious victories. At the very innermost is a chamber with statues of four gods - the orientation of the temple is so exact that the first light of dawn will shine into the innermost chamber on the date of Ramses II's birthday...so very amazing!Coincidentally, this was the exact time that we visited the temple, so were were able to see the gods bathed in the glow.
