| 説明 | I made up a yagi for the 70cm band to use to track high altitude balloons (ukhas.org.uk, cuspaceflight.co.uk). It worked pretty well! The photos detail the construction steps, more or less. This step:attaching wires to the aluminium dipole. this is friggin' hard! I cut notches as seen in the last picture, then used my knife to scratch away the surface coating of the aluminium around the notch and on top and around the end of the rod, then ran feeder wire through the notch and around one side, soldered it to itself, filled the notch with solder too, soldered the wire to the exposed aluminium on the outside of the rod, applied more solder, used cable ties to hold it in place, then smeared the whole thing in epoxy. it held! |
