| 説明 | Earlier this week, the UK's Met Office released a data set containing 1,600,000+ temperature readings from more than 1,700 stations around the globe.This graphic shows an individual month's readings throughout the entire data set (i.e. every measurement from January of every year).The newest readings are at the edge of the circle - the oldest are at the center. The stations are arranged by latitude - 3 o'clock is the poles and 9 o'clock is the equator.This graphic is not meant to convey much information - it is mainly a way to get a sense of the scope of the data set. |
