| 説明 | The frame holding this photo fell apart, and I was reminded how my pre-flickr memories suffer a paucity of metadata and portability. So I figured it was time to scan it in.Unfortunately, I have long lost the hand written notes I had from this magical dinner in the Clinton White House. I do remember that they were very interesting, as we had a tour of his private chambers with some poignant comments about his photo collection, and some funny comments about the artifacts in his office (something about the golf clubs)… and he had to step out for a moment during dinner, and we saw him on TV discussing some overseas military action that had just commenced. Then, back he strode to share in desert and discuss our non-profit topics… an amazing ability to context shift.(looking at some files and a Clinton timeline, I believe this dinner was in early 1999 when the NATO bombing of Kosovo began) |
