| 説明 | We are appealing for information relating to deliberate damage to police vehicles in the Solihull area in recent months. In a four month period, seven police vehicles have been damaged in Kingshurst, Smiths Wood and Castle Bromwich. The most recent incident happened on Wednesday 25 April; where two tyres and the front windscreen were damaged. In a separate incident, on 20 March a student police officer was in the vehicle when offenders threw bricks through the window. They then made off on a motorbike. Fortunately the officer wasn’t injured.Sergeant Thomas Jones, from Solihull Police, said: “Not only is damaging a police vehicle a senseless and criminal act, it also has a massive impact on the community. Damaged vehicles have to be taken off the road to repair, reducing our ability to respond to calls for service.”If anyone has any information regarding the people committing these offences, please contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. |
