| 説明 | A sightseeing boat on the Chicago River passing by and being reflected in "River Point" -- a 52-story building located at 444 West Lake Street and completed in 2016. The glass - especially in the parabolic section at the bottom - is very wavy creating wonderful distortions.I particularly like the various shapes of the ceiling light fixtures in different floors of the building. And, of course, the reflection of the surrounding buildings.The parabolic arch in the base of the building was created, at least in part, because the building is situated above active railroad tracks and the CTA Blue Line, and some of the support columns had to be angled to avoid them. |
