| 説明 | roti omelettewok-tossed w bacon, chives & roasted tomato salsa AUD12.90We came for the Roti Omelette, and that is what we had!When the dish arrived, it was probably 2 roti with the egg somewhere between an omelette and scrambled. Jumbled in between were 2 yummy rashers of bacon.The roasted tomato salsa was laced with lemongrass, onion and a bit of galangal all pounded together and spiked with just enough chilli to not overpower the dish. In fact, it was rather reminiscent of a fresh sambal, before it has been caramelised and reduced!As very nice dish, but we both thought that the roti, while chewy in the right places, needed more of the fragrant ghee to crisp it up in the pan.As expected, the dish was huge enough for both of us to share!---A quietly busy cafe on bustling Sydney Road in Brunswick.
