| 説明 | Walking down the Euston Road in London, I kept seeing the BT Tower. The sun was behind it so they mostly came out dark. Have tried to fix them.We were heading to Regents Park when I spotted it from Euston Road.It is a tall cylindrical building at 60 Cleveland Street, Fitzrovia. It has previously been known as the Post Office Tower and British Telecom Tower.It was commissioned by the General Post Office (GPO).Construction began in 1961. It was opened in 1966. It was designed by the architects of the Ministry of Public Buildings and Works. Chief architects were Eric Bedford and G R Yeats. It is concrete in glass. Opened by Tony Benn and Billy Butlin.It was renovated in the early 2000s.In 2003 the BT Tower was made a Grade II listed building. |
