説明 | The native Cirsium subniveum is common throughout the the sagebrush steppe of the Idaho National Laboratory, but often in low abundance at any one site and most common on basement rock and outcrops. The biennial growth habit, leafy bracted upper stems and peduncles, white flowers, and involucral bracts lacking a glutinous ridge combine to distinguish this thistle species. This site lies north of Middle Butte and north of highway 20, Butte County, Idaho. |
