| 説明 | -Washington, D.C., 13, May 2018. During the 30th annual Candlelight Vigil the names of the law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty were read aloud as candles were lit by the thousands in attendance. U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions and former Attorney General John Ashcroft spoke on the sacrifice made by law these officers and the importance of officer safety. The Attorney General and Concerns of Police Survivors National President Brenda Donner began lighting of candles and U.S. Marshals Service acting Deputy Director David Anderson read the name of DUSM Kenneth “Kenny” Doyle, who died in the line of duty on July 26, 2017, as a result of cancer contracted after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
