| 説明 | Thousands of people gathered in Sydney — a year out from the NSW state election — demanding action to protect land, water, and cultural heritage from the threat of coal mining and coal seam gas. The march went from Martin Place through the city to Prince Alfred Park — it included people from communities all over the state and was led by representatives from Indigenous communities. “We are at a crossroads. One path leads to clean air, clean water, clean energy, protection of cultural heritage and healthy communities. The other path leads to more coal and coal seam gas mining. It’s time to carve out a positive future. It’s our time to choose: clean water, clean air and clean energy,” said Glenn Morris, farmer from Inverell and participant in the #Time2Choose rally. |
