| 説明 | We spoke to householders who were settling back in to their houses to see how they perceived the support they had received from the Rapid Response Mechanism teams. They had fled to Kalingare about 5 hours away on foot. Initially settling in the church they had after about three weeks received; food, cooking sets, crockery, water bladders, jerry cans and plastic sheeting for shelter are pre-positioned. Later teams had come to rehabilitate water sources and build latrines.The man we spoke to was painting his house with reclaimed sump oil. It keeps the termites from eating the wood. I saw several houses being repaired or built up. I wondered if people spending their time and money in such medium term investments implies that they despite the ongloing insecurity they do not fear more fighting in the near future. |
