| 説明 | Although leafing out by early summer, Eriogonum cernuum continues grow into late summer when it flowers. This annual is flowering at this site during middle August. The flower clusters are nodding, hence the specific epithet, cernuum. The leaves have long petioles and the orbiculate leaf blades are glabrate to not so densely hairy above and densely white hairy beneath. This site lies in the Wyoming big sagebrush steppe of the Idaho National Laboratory, just east of Lincoln Blvd along Shell Road, Butte County, Idaho. |
