説明 | As I was walking past this pavilion, a traditional Chinese choir was rehearsing their repertoire. It sounded fantastic, and I was impressed by the use they had put this building to in their rehearsal.Having arrived at Liuzhou, Liu Zongyuan devoted his efforts to production. He also participated in the work. He once planted 200 mandarin orange trees in the North-West of Liuzhou City. Appropriate poems were also composed and carved in stone. In order to commemorate Liu Zongyuan, people built the Mandarin Orange Hall and the Pavilion of Orange Fragrance inside Luo Chi Pool. The existing Pavilion of Orange Fragrance (above) was built according to its previous state in the Qing Dynasty (under the reign of Emperor Qian Long). |
