| 説明 | 090829-N-7280V-362 BUSAN, Republic of Korea (Aug. 29, 2009)--Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), the Honorable Ray Mabus, and Vice Adm. John M. Bird, Commander, 7th Fleet, inspect a Marine from Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Pacific (FASTPAC) during a visit to amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Blue Ridge, embarked 7th Fleet staff and FASTPAC hosted SECNAV's first official visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK) since being appointed Secretary of the Navy in May. Blue Ridge is commanded by Capt. Thom W. Burke and serves under Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 7/Task Force (CTF) 76, the Navy's only forward deployed amphibious force. Blue Ridge is the flagship for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet. Task Force 76 is headquartered at White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, Japan, with an operating detachment in Sasebo, Japan.
