説明	Close up of Herod the Great's private swimming pool in his palace at Caesarea Maritima. Notice the rectangular indentations cut into the rock along the right-hand side of the pool. These appear to have been sockets for the supporting members of some structure accompanying the pool. There also appears to be a short rubble wall projecting into the near end of the pool (roughly at centre in the photo). I haven't looked at excavation reports, so I'm not sure what it's age or function is.
