| 説明 | The Wall (Bethlehem crossing point). Israeli authorities call it "the security barrier" but in fact the function of the wall is not to prevent Palestinian attacks in Israeli territory. These have decreased (they have almost completely ceased) although almost half of the wall has yet to be built. The wall is only a symbolic measure for Israeli citizens, as well as a segregation wall for Palestinians and an instrument for shifting Israeli borders and swallowing further Palestinian territories: only 16,6% of the total course of the wall coincides with the green line (the pre-1967 boundary).Il muro (valico di Betlemme). Il muro è chiamato "barriera di sicurezza" dalle autorità israeliane ma non è vero che serve a evitare gli attacchi palestinesi in territorio israeliano. Questi si sono ormai quasi azzerati anche se quasi metà del tracciato del muro deve ancora essere costruita.
