Grâce à l’intervention énergique de la Force de la MONUSCO (Bataillon uruguayen) qui a appuyé la Police nationale congolaise (PNC), un groupe de Maï-Maï qui s’apprêtait à attaquer la prison de Butembo dans le but de libérer les détenus a été mis en déroute ce mercredi 15 novembre 2017. Dans l'échange de feu qui s'en est suivi, trois assaillants ont été tués, un agent de la PNC et un civil (une femme) ont par ailleurs été blessés. Photo MONUSCO/Force (UrBatt).
