| 説明 | Amsterdam EYE museum and A'DAM LookoutI walk by this scene very often. It is strikingly beautiful, but with the amount of tourists, cameras, and photographer that pass this scene each day, I tend to look at it and think about how pointless it would be for me to photograph it as well. Much better images than any I could ever produce probably exist already.Today I had my camera and tripod on me, and the weather was too nice to not at least give it a try. I took several different shots, and this particular one satisfied me. I am not sure if the clouds add or remove from the image. On the one hand, they help separate the EYE museum from the sky, but, on the other hand, I the transition between the clouds and the sky is bothersome. A completely clear sky would look boring to me. I might come back during a cloudy day and take this shot again, to see if it looks better.I took three exposures and put them together with Nik's HDR Efex Pro 2, then added finishing touches with RawTherappe 5.2. I can notice the artifacts form the HDR merging around the A'DAM Lookout in some screens. In the screen in which I edited it I could not see it - or perhaps I did not pay close enough attention. This I find somewhat annoying. |
