| 説明 | Ben Emery received his B.S. (Hons) and Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne. He is currently at Stanford University for his Postdoctoral research. His research is focused on understanding the process of myelination and the development of oligodendrocytes, the myelinating cells of the central nervous system. This includes the transcriptional events (the turning on and off of genes) that mediate the generation of myelinating oligodendrocytes, t and the signaling events that occur between oligodendrocyrtes and neurons to control the myelination process.Outside the lab he enjoys rock climbing, sea kayaking, cooking, a good book, Argentine tango, and getting out and about with is partner and daughter (ideally somewhere outdoors). |
