| 説明 | Hypomyces chrysospermus - the yellow in this picture is a fungus growing on a decomposed bolete host. The bolete has long since turned into a brown mush, as you can see from the holes I made when I poked this thing (should have taken the photo first). Its starts out whitish and turns a bright yellow as it covers the surface of the host mushroom with a layer of spore dust.
