| 説明 | Elmdon airport (due to traffic problems on the M6) was rewarded with a plethora of leased-in aircraft covering the Monarch diagrams, whilst a good number of Monarch airframes are laid up on the apron. The two Omni Air International 777s were particularly nice, but my favorites are the Qatar Airways A320s operating on BA flight numbers. After all where else can they go with their home country blockaded in all sides? There are few short-haul destinations available to them now, so Monarch repatriation flights must seem a useful short lease option for the fleet. |
