| 説明 | Kuirau Park erupted in 2001 and became a hotbed (boom boom) of geothermal activity. The mature trees and shrubs in the park (including lots of manuka) are unable to survive the noxious, sulphurous fumes emitted by the pools and have died where they stand, though some are fighting back with brave green shoots. |
