| 説明 | My ex dug these up when he was on temporary duty in Saudi Arabia in 1984. Well, he actually dug up some quartz rocks in the sand and sent them to someone in Egypt to have them cut in the variety of shapes you see here. I splashed these out in front of a jeweler once and he FREAKED OUT! As he reached for the little magifier, I told him, "Don't bother, they're only quartz, and their only value is the cost of cutting them - about 35 bucks." He couldn't believe it and still examined them. Believe me, I'm not the type of person who just walks around with this much bling!btw, any comments on how to take better pictures of fake diamonds are welcome. The background is black velvet (brought to you from my long black velvet skirt...even the lint brush wouldn't get all of the dust out of it - dang!) |
