| 説明 | This is my daughter's beloved cat, Rum-Tum-Tugger, in a photo I took in 2004. Rum is now 15 years old and has liver and kidney damage, and Thursday night he got out of the house somehow and was missing for two full days. The good news is she found him today! After papering the neighborhood with flyers about his escape on the day he went missing, Amy got a call this afternoon from a woman who said, "I think I've seen your cat!" Amy practically flew over to her house and while she and the lady were chatting the woman spotted Rum across the street. After a brief chase-down (Rum has always been an indoor cat and is terrified of the outside), Amy was able to steer him toward home (actually, he went in that direction on his own) and Amy's husband snagged him. Now Rum is being fed all the canned food he can hold and snuggled to within an inch of his remaining seven or eight lives. (He's had so many close calls, we're really not sure how many he has left!) And the family is whole again. This wonderful cat has been my daughter's constant companion and gotten her through numerous bumps in the road of life. I couldn't be more relieved and thankful. |
