| 説明 | This image represents a character who plays in most of our casts: The Moralist.This character has a vivid undersatnding of Good and Evil, they're as old as Sapiens themselves and was born as a necessary survival strategist. Without some form of moral compass, tribes, businesses and social teamwork [Homo Sapien's strongest ability] as a whole collapse; in order to complete a trade or to openly work with someone towards a common goal, we need to know we're walking with compasses that [roughly] point in the same direction.Although most individuals hold the Moralist in some form, what varies from person to person is the depth of this character's analysis. For a while it was thought the SMORC (Simple Model of Rational Crime) summarized the typical analysis most individuals carry out when considering whether to commit a morally questionable act; The SMORC summarizes the analysis as a mere equation between 1) Probability of being caught, 2) Severity of potential punishment and 3) Amount of personal gain 0) with little to no analysis of actual right or wrong. When tested via a peer-review process, this theory [although close] failed due to neglecting a very important component: 4) Ego Motivation - the need to have a clear conscience in believing we're good, honest people which often strongly steers us on whether to commit these type of questionable acts.The SMORC Method, even with the addition of Ego Motivation, barely uses the Moralist's intelligence and overall is a very thin and dishonest equation to build our life's foundation on. Individuals with a truly stable psychology have given time to the Moralist, allowing them to carve an equation of stone out of solid reasoning for what the Individual's values of right and wrong are._____In reflection of humankind, I no longer see any soul or overall governing self in individuals. There is no Jay Cloud, there is only a network of characters and desires competing for attention and control. |
