| 説明 | Back Yard Humming birds are a joy to watch and photograph. Their speed, strength and agility are outstanding. Sometimes they will fly within 2 feet of me, especially when I am tending feeders. However the feeders do attract wasps. So I bought a green and clear wasp trap which also takes sugar water to attract wasps and other flying insects. I hung the trap in the sun filled with clear sugar water and had no wasps for 10 days. I took it down and refilled it with fresh sugar water. But this time I added a bit of yellow dye. The next day I found over 25 dead wasps in the trap and every day since there has been double digit dead wasps. I have 10 humming bird feeders in my back yard and wasps love them as much as the hummers. Many insects are attracted to yellow, orioles to orange, humming birds to red, bankers to green and so on. The manufacturer could improve his wasp trap product by instructing customers to add the yellow dye. In fact if the green top and hole covers were yellow it would improve performance. |
