Timber-frame with brick infill; tile roof withbrick stack to front of roof ridge. 2 storeys, 2-window range.Entrance to left end has canopy on carved wooden figures andwrought iron bracket over battened door; entrance to right endhas battened door; relief plaque above of St Christopher undergable. Windows have leaded glazing: ground floor has 4-lightoriel to left of centre and 2-light window to left of entranceto right end; 1st floor has 1:3:1-light canted oriel to leftof centre and 4-light window to right end. Square framing onsole plate. INTERIOR: timber-framed cross wall and right endgable exposed.Listing NGR: SK1173309644Quonians Lane, LichfieldR. Bridgeman and Sons. This is a stonemason firm who have been in Lichfield since the 1860s. The firm have worked on the Cathedral and continued in 2003 to work on churches, ancient buildings and city walls all over the world. |
