| 説明 | First Hotel Atlantic, Europaplads 10, 8000 Aarhus C (DK), viewed from Mindet.The process of uncovering the local river, Aarhus Å, is nearing completion. This is the very last stage, crossing Europaplads to the mouth next to Dokk1.Here, the parking lot in front of the hotel is getting the excavation-treatment.The two buildings in the background, Europaplads 8 (left, white, built in 1853) and 6 (red brick, built 1909) are both in overhanging danger of demolition, to be replaced by (another) tall building complex. The plans have not (yet) been cleared by the city council and there are several public voices speaking against the project. |
