| 説明 | This was first built in the 14th century to load and unload cargoes and put up masts on ships. It could lift 4 tonnes to a height of 11 metres. Quite impressive given it was powered by men running round like hamsters inside two giant drums. It was one of the biggest - if not the biggest - cranes in medieval Europe. State-of-the-art technology for its time. |
