| 説明 | Cloud Gate, also known as The Bean or Electric Kidney Bean, the centerpiece of Millennium Park's AT&T Plaza, formerly known as Ameritech Plaza and SBC Plaza, was constructed between 2003 and 2005, by British artist, Anish Kapoor. The 110-ton, 33-foot high, 42-foot wide, 66-foot long was forged as a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates, which reflects and transforms the skyline and clouds. A 12-foot high arch provides a gate to the omphalos, a concave chamber on the underside that warps and multiplies reflections. |
